Hi, my name is Marc and I have been shooting video for 22 years. I’ve worked at CBS, NBC and even a few years in Canada for CBC. Being a video professional I often get asked to watch others home videos. I gotta say its not a lot of fun. Can I use the word torture? Too late, I already did. My goal here is to offer a little incite into the proper use of a video camera. Its really a remarkable tool but most people who own them have no clue how to use it properly. Anyone who has the basic tools can create home videos that people actually want to watch. So thats what I’m doing here. Trying to help make the audiences of those millions of amateur video makers less like torture victims and more like theater visitors.
