Crush Those PLOSIVES!



A pop filter is basically of screen between your mouth and the microphone. You see, pronouncing certain letters create an annoyance called "Plosives". These are a burst of air coming out of the speakers mouth and hitting the microphone. "B's" and "P's" are the most common culprits. They can be tamed somewhat by using a pop filter between your mouth and the mic.
